This expansive natural pool forms a living space for our client, complete with breeze house and outdoor kitchen, the perfect setting for entertaining guests and family get togethers.

Our brief was to create a natural pool wide enough for water polo, so the swim zone is a huge 7m wide and 2m deep and 15m long. It feels huge to swim in and sits like a huge sky mirror in the garden with a larch sun deck wrapping around two sides of the pool to create a living area.

The swim zone is surrounded by a regeneration zone with a plant filter to filter and purify the water.

Water returns into the pool via a millstone and the shallow end has paved steps leading into it.

The pool is positioned to be viewed from the house, it has sunshine all day and whenever we visited it was teeming with dragon flies and damselflies with swallows dipping.
